07 Nights & 08 Days Itinerary :
Day 01 :
Arrive at Ben Gurion airport. Meet your land operator representative. Have Breakfast. Proceed to Haifa via Caesarea, Israel's largest port city, built on the slopes of Mt. Carmel (Stella Maris). Visit the Famous Persian Hanging Gardens for a view of the Baha’i Shrine. Then make a brief halt at the "Home of Eujoh", and then continue to Muhraqa, the place of sacrifice and the site where Prophet Elijah defeated the False Prophets of Ba'al. Then proceed to Nazareth, the boyhood town of Jesus and home of Mary and Joseph and visit the Basilica of the Annunciation built over the grotto where Archangel Gabriel appeared to announce that she would bear a son, Jesus. We also stop by Joseph's workshop. Dinner and overnight in Nazareth/ Tiberius
Day 02 :
After breakfast we visit Capernaum - the centre of Jesus' ministry after he left Nazareth. We stop at Tabgha - the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes and the expressive Church of the Beatitudes, where Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount This morning we drive through the landscapes of Galilee and later for a ride in a replica of a Galilean fishing boat of that time, on the Sea of Galilee and where Jesus calmed the storm and walked on the water. We make a brief halt at St. Peter's house, the Church of Primacy of Peter and the place where Jesus bestowed St. Peter with his authority. This is believed to be the place where Jesus dined with his disciple's the flat rock known as Mensa Christ of Chris's table commemorates this event. Then we visit Mt. Tabor, the sacred site of the Transfiguration Dinner and overnight in Nazareth/ Tiberius
Day 03 :
After Breakfast proceed to Allenby border. After visa formalities we visit Madaba (the city of Mosaics), Greek Orthodox Church of St. George Madaba is a capital city of Madaba Governorate of Jordan, which has a population of about 60,000. Madaba is the fifth most populous town in Jordan. It is best known for its Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics, especially a large Byzantine-era mosaic map of Palestine and the Nile delta. Madaba is located 30 miles south-west of the capital Amman. We proceed for Shopping and have Lunch. Then we Proceed to Mount Nebo : The trip south of Amman along the 5,000 years old King’s Highway is one of the most memorable journeys in the Holy Land, passing through a string of ancient sites of Jordan, the memorial of Moses, and the presumed site of the prophet's death and burial place. From a platform in front of the church one can enjoy a breath taking view across the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. Dinner and overnight in Amman .
Day 04 :
After breakfast, drive to visit Jerash Roman city, Jerash was named by the Romans as one of the great cities of the Decapolis League. A succession of continuous habitation dating back to the Neolithic Era, resulted in a marvelous embroidery composed of colonnaded streets, baths, theaters, plazas and arches, situated within the realms of this ancient roman city which is considered to be one of the best preserved provincial cities of the Roman Empire. Continue to the Dead Sea, which is considered one of the most spectacular natural and spiritual landscapes in the whole world. It is the lowest body of water on earth, the lowest point on earth, and the world's richest source of natural salts, hiding wonderful treasures that accumulated throughout thousands of years. You will have free time for swimming. We drive to Amman hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 05 :
After Breakfast proceed to Allenby border. Proceed to Jericho where we stop and view Mt. Qarantal, the traditional Mount of Temptation and Sycamore Tree it is also the place where Jesus stopped on this way to Jerusalem, on the Eve of the Passover and were Jesus cured the blind man during his stay at Zachaeus house. Then drive via the Qumran Caves, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found, continue through Qumran Descend to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth (1305 ft. below sea level), again make a brief stop at a private beach and take the opportunity to float in the salty buoyant water, rich in minerals Proceed to Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem
Day 06 :
Visit Ein Karem, located in the hills next to a little spring. This is the city of Judah and birthplace of John the Baptist, son of Elizabeth & Zechariah and the Church of Visitation. Then onto Bethlehem, which is located in the Judah province. It was here that the Angel announced the birth of Jesus to the shepherds of Bethlehem during the reign of King Herod. Also, here David tended his flocks until he was anointed King of Israel. We then visit the Church of the Nativity - the birthplace of Jesus and the City of David, Manager Square; Shepherds field Crusaders Cloister Grotto of St. Jerome. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem .
Day 07 :
After breakfast we will start the day by going to the pools of Beit Hasda, where Jesus held the crippled man. And from there we take the Via Dolorosa (Way of Grief), traditionally accepted as the last route trodden by Jesus. Follow the 14 Stations of the Cross to Golgotha, the place where Jesus was crucified marking significant events along the route. You will see the Pilate's Judgments Hall; the Chapel of the Flagellation where, according to tradition, the Roman soldiers scourged Jesus and placed a crown of thorns on His head the Ecce Homo Arch and the Convent of the Sisters of Zion. . The last 5 Stations of the Cross are inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre visible from the distance, wish is two silver domes. Also "The Tomb" widely believed to be part of the stone that covered Jesus Tomb.
We visit St. Mark Convent the traditional site where Mary went to sleep after Crucification, Last Supper Room, where we remember the last supper and the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles on Pentecost. Visit the Cenacle -the tomb of King David and – (the other upper room). r. Then we go through the Jewish quarter to the Wailing Wall, which is the holiest place for the Jewish religion. Proceed to Bethany .Visit Bethany the Town of Mary, Martha and Lazarus. Visit Lazarus’s Tomb. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem
After breakfast, proceed to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. Visit sanctuaries of Pater Nester Ascension. Walk along the Palm Sunday road down to the chapel of Dominoes’ Flevit where Jesus wept over eminent destruction of Jerusalem and Garden of Gethsemane. Visit the Basilica of agony and Tomb of St. Mary. We also will visit the Church of St. Peter of Gallicantu, which symbolizes Peter's Denial of Jesus as he has prophesied at the Last Supper and then visit the traditional house of high priest, Caiaphas, where Jesus was imprisoned. Proceed to Joppa Visit St. Peter Church.Proceed to the airport to catch our flight back home.
05 Nights & 06 Days :
Day 01 : Haifa – Mt. Tabor - Galilee – Tiberius
You will be met on arrival at Ben Gurion Airport early in the morning 03:30hrs. and assisted through immigration. After breakfast en route to the North we shall travel onwards to Haifa, Israel's largest port city, built on the slopes of Mt. Carmel. Visit the famous Persian Hanging Gardens for a view of the Bahai Shrine. We then make a brief halt at the Elijah cave at Stella Marris and then we continue to Muhraqa, the place of sacrifice and the site where Prophet Elijah defeated the False Prophets of Ba'al. From here we continue to Mt. Tabor, the site of the Transfiguration of Jesus. For today your tour ends at Tiberius nestled on the Sea of Galilee where Jesus performed many miracles. Dinner and overnight in the Galilee.
Day 02 : Galilee - Capernaum – Cana - Nazareth
This morning we drive through the landscapes of Galilee and later for a ride in a replica of a Galilean fishing boat of that time, on the Sea of Galilee and where Jesus calmed the storm and walked on the water, visit Capernaum - the center of Jesus' ministry after He left Nazareth. Then on to Nazareth, the boyhood town of Jesus and home of Mary and Joseph and visit the Basilica of the Annunciation built over the grotto where Archangel Gabriel appeared to announce that she would bear a son, Jesus. We'll visit also Joseph's workshop. Return to your Hotel in the Galilee for Dinner and overnight
Day 03 : Jordan Valley - Jericho –Qumran – Dead Sea - Jerusalem
Today you will leave Galilee for Jerusalem via the Jordan Valley. We stop at Yardenit on the Jordan River, the traditional baptismal, site, and then drive along the Jordan Valley bypassing the Ancient city of Jericho, believed to be the oldest city on earth, and visiting Mt. Qarantal, (with cable car) where Jesus spent 40 days when Satan tried to tempt him. It is also the place where Jesus stopped on his way to Jerusalem, on the Eve of the Passover and were Jesus cured the blind man during his stay at Zachaeus house. Descend to the Dead Sea' the lowest point on earth (400 m. below sea level), after visiting Qumran, the caves where the Dead Sea scrolls were found, make a brief stop at a private beach and take the opportunity to float in the salty buoyant water, rich in minerals. We drive along the Judean Wilderness to the city of Jerusalem. Check-in, Dinner and overnight at your Hotel in Bethlehem.
Day 04 : Ein Karem – Mt. Zion - Bethlehem
We will visit Ein Karem - the city of Judah and birthplace of John the Baptist, son of Elizabeth & Zechariah and the Church of Visitation. We then visit Mt Zion with the upper room and King David's Tomb. We also visit the church of St. Peter Gallicantu the site where Jesus was imprisoned by the High Priest before he was turned over to the Romans and the church of Dormition. Continue to Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus. Visit the Church of Nativity and the Manger Square and view the Shepherds Fields. Dinner and overnight at hotel, Bethlehem.
Day 05 : Mt of Olives – Bethany - Garden of Gethsemane Garden Tomb
We start in the morning visiting the Mt of Olives with the Church of Ascension, which commemorates the ascents of Jesus to heaven, the Pater Noster Church where Jesus taught prayers to his Disciples according to tradition. Then continue to the panoramic view of Mt. of Olives and from there, along the Sunday Palm Tree Road by foot to the Gethsemane Gardens where Jesus was arrested, on the way visit the Dominus Flavit Church, where Jesus wept over the coming destruction of Jerusalem. The chapel is built in the shape of a tear as a poignant reminder to this event. Visit Bethany, the home of the siblings Mary, Martha and Lazarus. From here we continue to visit Garden Tomb, located outside the city walls and close to the Damascus Gate and are considered by some to be the site of the burial and resurrection of Jesus and to be adjacent to Golgotha. Return to your Hotel in Bethlehem for Dinner and overnight.
Day 06: Old City of Jerusalem - Jaffa -Airport
After breakfast and check-out we take today the Via Dolorosa (Way of Grief), traditionally accepted as the last route by Jesus. We will follow the Stations of the Cross to the Golgotha, the place where Jesus was crucified marking significant events along the route; the Chapel of the Flagellation where, according to tradition, the Roman soldiers scourged Jesus and placed the thorn crown on His head, and the Ecce Homo Arch. Early tradition held that Pontius Pilate stood here and thundered "Ecce Homo!" which means "Behold the man!" which is what Pilate said when he presented Jesus to the crowd. Below the Convent is the "Floor" where Jesus was publicly tried and where the Roman soldiers mocked him. The last 5 Stations of the Cross are inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre visible from the distance, with its two silver domes. Also "The Tomb" widely believed to be part of the stone that covered Jesus Tomb. From here we continue to the western wall and onwards along the Ella Valley and Latrun, a strategic Hilltop overlooking the city of Jerusalem to Tel Aviv & Jaffa to see the house of Simon the Tanner and visit St. Peter's Church. (If Time permits) From here we drive to the Airport for your departure flight 21:00hrs. Shalom and good bye hope to welcome you very soon back to Israel .
